If you visit New York and require gluten free food, why don't you look at http://www.glutenfreehotelsguide.com/city.php?id=3.
The site lists hotels all over the world which are able to serve gluten free food.

My husband and I are coming to NYC the third weekend of July to celebrate his 60th birthday. We will be attending two Yankees games - he's a huge fan. Is it going to be hard to eat gf at the stadium? Or should we just make very late reservations somewhere for after the game? Thank you. Love your site - very helpful. Linda

So much to see, so much to do. And of course so much to eat. GF.

Hilary-I'll come back to this post when I travel to NYC later this year! The Facebook group sounds great. I am rarely on Facebook, but I'll check it out for sure. I love to travel so I really enjoy your site ... even if I know I will never make it to the spots you mention, I just love reading your reviews and stories! :-)

Hilary,
This is a brilliant idea! As you know my husband and I run a fine dining restaurant north of Toronto and we're kind of pioneers in this small town creating fresh and "gluten friendly" dishes. We've become the place for people with allergies. Ivars cooks everything fresh and from pure products so we create dishes for people depending on their allergy. I'm looking forward to reading more about gluten-free ideas and your travels.
Cheers,
Kim
